Spring has Sprung!!!

I'm sure that you've noticed that spring has sprung! Things have started to green up, flower up, and pollen up. This often brings on allergies but also often brings a spring to our step. The increase in the number of daylight minutes along with the monkeying with the clock, makes going to bed at 8 o'clock feel a little off. We are early risers here and often that leads to early to bed, but with the later sunlight hours, I feel guilty to not make use of the daylight. I also love to see the beautiful orchestrated sunsets our Creator provides. This time of year also brings to mind all the fall / winter projects I didn't get accomplished and the added property maintenance. This time is also often a time to reflect on where we are with our goals that we set at the beginning of the year. I like a saying that I've picked up along the way, "A goal without a plan, is just a dream". Goals require a plan to accomplish them. I've read somewhere that just making a list places you in a higher percentage of success. So I've tried to get better at utilizing lists and I can testify to their benefits. Hopefully that's encouraging and / or inspiring.
Often one of our goals is to eat better. As I thought of this, I think about how we've often traded in the dinner table experience for the grab and go compromised food offerings from the companies that saw the value in adding "Convenience" as the most attractive thing on their menus. I want to encourage each of us that our menus place "Integrity" as the most sought item on our menu choice. I hope that we can help with that with the products that we offer. It's not a selfish sales scheme, it's a personal indictment to ourselves and it's led us to a place where we are. Not just trying to practice making choices to consume products raised and fed with integrity, but to enable ourselves to offer those same products to others with a portion of convenience added.
An interesting thing that I often ponder and am amazed at is that when we follow our Creator's plan, I benefit and everything else around me does too. We want to play a part in others being able to make healthier food choices. So much so that it brings us joy to do it.
What are some of the things that you aspire to accomplish this year? Is there something that Embrace Farm can do to help?

We're getting around a dozen pastured, organically fed, eggs a day. More eggs are coming as we've recently added 14 more egg layers to pasture and will be adding an additional 11 this week!
New meat birds will be hatching out next weekend (kinda appropriate for those who celebrate Easter) That means we'll be re-stocking meat birds in 12-13 weeks.
Let me know if you're interested in learning how to decorate eggs like the ones below. These are decorated using the Pysanky method. An ancient way of decorating we've grown to enjoy.
