A new adventure

This is a new adventure to me. My very first blog entry! I find it a little exciting because I enjoy pondering and writing some of it down.

If you're reading this, I want you to know that I appreciate it. We all have a very limited amount of time so if you're choosing to spend a few minutes considering what I've got to say, I thank you.

New adventures are something we often seek out for several reasons. It may be that we're bored, it may be something that a spouse or loved one is asking us to participate in, or it could be that it's an internal desire to accomplish something like climbing a mountain. Either way there are some fundamentals that seem to be present with most new adventures. Some good and some bad. Even the bad can be turned into good if we use wisdom to manipulate the bad to our benefit. The Scripture verse of Romans 8:28 comes to mind. That God will cause all things to work together for good for those that love Him and are called according to His purpose. So we are called to "Just Do It". Often times we get stifled by fear. If we truly believe what Scripture says, we shouldn't allow this because if we're aligned with Christ in heart and mind, He's gonna work it out! Don't you worry about it. When my fear of not doing whatever it is, exceeds the fear of actually doing the new adventure begins.

Let this be an encouragement to you. Don't let fear rob you of what God wants to work out. Don't let fear rob you of the lessons learned through putting forth the effort. "Just Do It"
